Musical Genres: Music is a diverse language that comprises different genres. A genre is a style or category of art, music or literature. In the proceeding article, I will be mentioning some of the main genres of music. I hope it will be helpful to a lot of people out there who are not  familiar with a lot of genres but hold a significance interest in knowing. So, Let’s get started!  1-Jazz:   Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, United States, in the late 19th. Jazz is seen by many as 'America's classical music. Since the 19 20s Jazz Age, jazz has become recognised as a major form of musical expression. It then emerged in the form of independent traditional and popular musical styles.  It comprises many sub genres like Smooth jazz, Ragtime, Contemporary jazz, Fusion, Crossover jazz , Latin jazz, Bossa nova, Swing. B.B. King The next legendary guitar icon  that i’m writing about is Riley B. King known  professionally as B.B. King. B.B. King is another American blues singer, electric guitarist, songwriter, and record producer, who introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that influenced many later electric blues guitarists. King was born September 16, 1925 Berclair, Mississippi, U.S. When he was four years old, his mother left his father for another man so king was brought up by his maternal grandmother, Elnora Farr. He was attracted to music and the guitar in church and eventually began his performance career in juke joints and local radio. While young, King sang in the gospel choir at Elkhorn Baptist Church in Kilmichael. King was attracted to the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ because of its music.
